Soul-cover band from Durban, South Africa.  The Flames (a.k.a., The Flame) were later "discovered" by The Beach Boys.

Ricky Fataar and Blondie Chaplin join The Beach Boys.  Later, Blondie Chaplin performs with Rick Danko and others; Ricky Fataar plays with Joe Walsh's band and, later, Bonnie Raitt.
