The Gift

Life is a precious thing we have all been given, and life can sometimes be very difficult to live. It's what we do with that life that counts. You may say that you don't need church or a relegion to live your life and you don't. But there is one thing we all need very much and that is love. To know that there is someone that loves you beyond measure. Someone that is always there to hear your cry for help or give you direction when you don't know what decision you should make. There is someone that loves you unconditionally and he gave his life so that you might live eternally. That person is Jesus Christ. But to know him you must first ask him to come into your heart and take over your life so that you might live for him. If you don't know Jesus as your Lord and Savior please pray the following prayer:

Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of your son, Jesus. I ask you to forgive me of all my sins and those that I have committed against others and you. Come into my heart and make me a new person so that I might live for you. Your word says that "Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved" so I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and that you raised him from the dead so that I might be saved. Send your Holy Spirit to live in me so that I might be given a new birth. Thank you Lord for coming into my heart, for giving me your Holy Spirit and for being the guiding force over my life. Amen.

I know I said you don't have to have a church to have Christ; but, it is good to have a place to fellowship with others that are following a christain life. It is a place where you can grow spiritually and learn the word of God.
