A Twenty Year Retrospective" (3-CD box set) (1996) - If you
think you've heard all of the David Grisman Quintet's stuff before, you
haven't. This box set contains ALL previously unreleased
material,
including many live versions of tunes from their earlier classic
albums.
The only thing I'm not crazy about is the "free-form" jazz song, "Free
Dawg Night". Other than this, it's all ESSENTIAL STUFF!
